Dr. Ronald Negrich believes in the personalized care of his allergy, asthma, and immunology patients. Each treatment plan is crafted and personalized to the individual needs of every patient. With a background in internal medicine and an allergy fellowship in the pediatric department, Dr. Negrich works well with both, children and adults. He has a particular interest in urticaria (hives), asthma, food allergies, bee allergies, immunodeficiencies, recurrent infections, and sinusitis.
After studying psychology at Wayne State University, Dr. Negrich went to medical school at Universidad del Noreste in Tampico, Mexico. He also attended New York Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, and his fellowship in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport and Tulane Hospital in New Orleans. He has been practicing allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology since 1996. He is board-certified in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
Dr. Negrich came to Texas ENT Specialists in 2015 after a move from Toledo, Ohio. He and his wife had always enjoyed visiting Houston and were attracted by the warmer weather and bustling city atmosphere. When offered the position as the first board-certified allergist to join the Texas ENT Specialists team, he enthusiastically accepted. Since joining us, Dr. Negrich has enjoyed the synergy between all of the physicians in our group. When asked about why a general allergist was added to an existing ear, nose & throat practice, Dr. Cary Moorhead commented, “Although we have had a large and successful allergy practice for many years, some of our patients have allergy problems that are outside of our usual focus on environmental allergies. Texas ENT Specialists has always had a philosophy that we want to be able to provide all of the services that our patients need under one roof, and Dr. Negrich brings this level of specialized care to our allergy patients.” He added, “The best thing about working with Dr. Negrich is that he loves taking care of people. He is extremely personable, and he takes time to listen to his patients to understand their problems. His patients love him.”
Dr. Negrich loves the outdoors and enjoys fishing, running, and playing tennis. He met his wife, Patricia, while in medical school in Mexico. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, Alexandra, and their two sons, Gabriel and Rafael.
Dr. Negrich sees patients at The Vintage and Memorial Villages.
