Program: To precisely program your hearing aids, your audiologist will first perform a hearing test using software from your hearing aid manufacturer. Your doctor will use information gathered during testing to set up your hearing aids to deliver great results in various listening situations.
Measure: Now, we’ll put that programming to the test. Your doctor will measure your hearing aids’ performance using a testing process called Real Ear Measurement (REM). They will also ask you and your family for feedback about your hearing aids’ performance.
