Micaela Carlsen, Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Micaela Carlsen is a Doctor of Audiology resident at Texas ENT Specialists in Houston. Born and raised in Canada, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Calgary before moving to Kansas to pursue her Doctor of Audiology at Wichita State University. Her clinical training includes hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, cochlear implants, and vestibular testing. Dr. Carlsen is passionate about patient-centered care and helping individuals improve their quality of life through better hearing. Her doctoral research focused on music training and CAPDOTS therapy for children with Auditory Processing Disorder. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with loved ones.
