Provider Biography

Michael W. Moore, III, MD, earned his BS with Summa Cum Laude honors from Boston College, where he was co-captain of the men’s swim team. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School – Houston and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. During medical school, he performed research on minimally invasive head and neck surgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and was awarded the Eugene G. Jacobson Award in physiology.

Dr. Moore completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. At MUSC, he was awarded the Otolaryngology Outstanding Resident Research award for research on hearing loss, as well as the Head & Neck Cancer Resident of the Year award. He consistently scored amongst the top residents in the country on the annual Otolaryngology training exam.  His clinical interests include nasal allergy and sinus disorders, head and neck surgery, including thyroid and parathyroid surgery, hearing loss and ear disorders, and management of sleep apnea/snoring. Dr. Moore joined Rosewood ENT in August of 2016 and became a part of Texas Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists in January 2017.

Dr. Moore is a native of Houston and an Eagle Scout. He is glad to be back in Texas and is enjoying all that Houston has to offer with his wife and two children.
