
Phi Doan MD
Programar citaDr. Phi Doan, MD is a board-certified otolaryngologist joining Texas ENT Specialists, bringing more than seven years of clinical experience in comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and completed her residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School. Prior to her medical training, she earned a Master's in Biotechnology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Spanish from Baylor University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Doan is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the Triological Society, and the American Cochlear Implant Alliance, and she is fluent in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
Most recently at Allina Health in the Twin Cities, Dr. Doan founded and led the health system's first cochlear implant program, building the clinical workflow and referral pathways from the ground up and performing the organization's first cochlear implant surgery. She has also served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Allina Medical Center–Faribault, trained residents and physician assistants in clinical and surgical settings, and was named a Top Doctor Rising Star by Mpls. St. Paul Magazine. Her research background includes published work on endoscopic middle ear anatomy and genetic risk factors for thyroid and salivary gland carcinoma, along with numerous national and international presentations. Dr. Doan is passionate about hearing restoration and patient-centered surgical care, and she looks forward to bringing her expertise in cochlear implantation and otologic surgery to patients at Texas ENT Specialists.
