Sally F. Shu, MD
Dr. Sally Shu will welcome you into the room with a big smile and a warm greeting. She has a caring touch with all of her patients. Dr. Shu graduated with a chemistry degree from the University of North Carolina. She stayed at UNC for medical school where she graduated with honors. She came to the Gulf Coast area to complete her internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
She joined our practice in 1998. Dr. Shu is the former Chief of Surgery at Northeast Medical Center Hospital. She has also served on several committees at this center including: Utilization Review, Infection Control, Cancer, Pharmacy and Therapeutics and the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Shu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Shu is active in the Kingwood community and spends time giving to others. She has served on the advisory board to the Kingwood YMCA, as Vice President of the Kingwood Lion’s Club and as a member of the Lion’s Club Shoe Box Relief Appeal. In 1997, Dr. Shu traveled to Romania as part of a medical mission. She also worked at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London.
She sees patients at our Red Oak and Humble locations.
