Michael P. Castillo, MD

Dr. Michael Castillo knows you’ll receive the best medical care with Texas ENT Specialists because of a team approach philosophy.   Dr. Castillo believes the old saying “two heads are better than one” and in this case 25 doctors are better than one.   He’s committed to practicing the most up to date medicine to provide the best care for his patients.
 
Dr. Castillo grew up in Brownsville and is fluent in Spanish.  He came to Houston to attend Rice University where he earned a bachelor of science in biochemistry.   He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine in Dallas where he was admitted to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He stayed at UT Southwestern to complete his internship and residency.  He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and the American Medical Association.
 
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Castillo enjoys outdoor activities including biking and jogging. He also likes to travel internationally.    Dr. Castillo’s wife is a psychiatrist who also practices in Clear Lake.
