David P. Zarin, MD, FACS

Dr. David Zarin has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years. He continues to practice because he finds it very fulfilling to connect with patients and meet their needs no matter how big or small. He recognizes that to a patient any problem is the most important thing to them at the time. They want someone to listen to them and help them even if in medical terms their problem is minor. To them, it’s all the same. He strives to make sure when a patient leaves his office, his or her expectations have been exceeded.

Dr. Zarin is one of the founding partners of Texas ENT Specialists. He wanted to help establish a premier ear, nose and throat provider in the community in which his patients lived. Without a doubt, he feels Texas ENT Specialists has accomplished that goal.

Dr. Zarin began his education at Amherst College in Massachusetts. He graduated with a bachelor of arts in psychology. He attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati. He completed his internship and residency here in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine.   He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Over the past 30 years, Dr. Zarin has served on the board of numerous medical organizations. He’s currently the Chairman of the Board and Chief of Staff at TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital. He has served on the Board of Directors at United Surgical Partners, International, where he is currently the national Medical Director.

Dr. Zarin is happily married and has three sons. He’s also the proud grandfather of twins.

He sees patients at the Red Oak office.  Dr. Zarin's practice includes both adults and children. He has a special interest in the treatment of sinus disease, utilizing the most advanced surgical techniques including image guidance and balloon sinuplasty.
