Joel N. Anthis, MD
Dr. Joel Anthis believes a successful practice is based on putting the patient first. Each day, he finds personal satisfaction in being able to better a patient’s quality of life. Each patient brings unique symptoms and challenges and he enjoys being able to give them a personal treatment plan. He also finds it fulfilling to treat life’s full spectrum from infants just hours old to men and women in their 90s. Being the father of four children, he can relate to a parent’s fears and knows how to comfort them.

Mary Es Beaver, MD, FACS
Dr. Mary Es Beaver is the director of the Texas Center for Voice & Swallowing. She is a board-certified Otolaryngologist and Laryngologist. She specializes in disorders of the vocal cords and throat, upper airway and swallowing disorders.
From an early age, Dr. Beaver knew she would become a doctor. Her grandfather, W. Leland Anderson, inspired her. He was instrumental in acquiring some of the land that created the Texas Medical Center.

F.M. Bonner III, MD, FACS
Dr. F.M. Bonner has been practicing ENT in the Northwest Houston area for more than 25 years. He is a founding partner of Texas ENT Specialists. Dr. Bonner provides services for patients of all ages with all diseases of the ear, nose & throat.
Dr. Bonner received his bachelor of arts from Baylor University in Waco. He then headed to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston for medical school. He stayed there to complete his internship and residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

Rosalia C. Burke, MD
Dr. Rosalia Burke is a well-respected Otolaryngologist with years of experience. She is the Chairman of the Division of ENT/Otolaryngology at the Memorial Hermann Hospital The Woodlands and a partner and board member of the Conroe Surgery Center.
Dr. Burke’s medical studies have taken her across the country. She began her medical career by studying biology at Yale University where she graduated magna cum laude.

Michael P. Castillo, MD
Dr. Michael Castillo knows you’ll receive the best medical care with Texas ENT Specialists because of a team approach philosophy. Dr. Castillo believes the old saying “two heads are better than one” and in this case 25 doctors are better than one. He’s committed to practicing the most up to date medicine to provide the best care for his patients.
Dr. Castillo grew up in Brownsville and is fluent in Spanish. He came to Houston to attend Rice University where he earned a bachelor of science in biochemistry.

Dr. Joseph Chang is the director of the Texas Ear Center, a division of Texas ENT Specialists. He’s a Neurotologist, a highly specialized surgeon who performs advanced ear surgeries & surgeries for the tumors of the skull base.
Dr. Chang was born in Kobe, Japan but grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. His education has taken him across the country. He attended Stanford University in California where he received a bachelor of science in electrical engineering computers. He then attended Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Dr. Chenault, a founding partner for Texas ENT Specialists, has been caring for patients in north Houston since 1979, after completing his residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He stayed at UTMB to fulfill his internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery during which he received a number of awards. Dr. Grant devotes his efforts in medicine to providing a personalized treatment plan for each patient. Dr. Johnigan was born in Houston, Texas. His father’s family is from Galveston and his mother’s family is from Pasadena. Dr. Johnigan grew up all over the Gulf Coast. He lived in Clear Lake, Dallas, Gainesville and Tampa.
He attended The University of Notre Dame in Indiana where he received a bachelor of science in biology and had a second major in theology. He returned to Texas and completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he graduated with

Dr.Yamileth Nicolau was born in the country of Panama. When she was a teenager she lived in Colombia, Puerto Rico and throughout Panama due to her father's executive career relocations. She is completely fluent in both English and Spanish. During her high school senior year she was chosen to go to Washington D.C. as part of the Presidential Classroom. She graduated first in her class and received the Academic Achievement Award signed by President George H. W. Bush. She attended medical School in Panama and graduated second in her class.
Rance W. Raney, MD
Dr. Rance Raney likes to build a bond with his patients. He knows it doesn’t come instantly but finds it fulfilling when he’s soon treating the entire family and not just the initial patient.
